Cast On With Knitting Needles
- Create a slip knot and place it on the left needle. The slip knot does not count as a stitch.
- Cross the left needle over the right needle, making an X with the left needle tip pointing to the right and the right needle tip pointing to the left. The working yarn should be under both needle tips.
- Wrap the working yarn from the right side over the left needle and in between the needle tips to the back of the work.
- Wrap the working yarn from the left side over the right needle and in between the needle tips to the back of the work.
- Pull the loop on the right needle through the space between the first and second stitches closed to the tip of the left needle to the front of the work.
